in drafting class at sandia high school, we were so board (drawing lines and circles were too easy) we became the self-appointed, computer repair students. just for fun, and i guess to help the teacher (mr. dewberry) we wrote some shell commands that redirected anyone’s attempts to play computer games (thee original doom, heretic, etc.) and forced them back into the cad (computer aided drafting) program. that is unless you knew the backdoor like the programmers we also fixed some pc hardware now and then too.

sometime between nmt and sandia, we decided to take chemistry and physics a little further… we proceeded to make the biggest bottle rockets that an estes engine could carry. of course, we had plenty of “learning experiences” but survived with ten toes, ten fingers, and most of our hearing

i could keep going about the nerd in israel, but he is a renaissance man as well. he is quite the grease monkey and loves cars. one in particular that held his heart before erin was that old corvair. unfortunately, he never had enough extra time to finish it. then there is his pursuit of cooking. let me tell you that when israel aims to make a meal or bake a cheesecake, it has always been a real treat to be on the dinner invitation! then there’s the party animal, whom shall be omitted from further description unless you offer me a drink. then there is mr. rugby, who kept israel quite athletic through the years at tech. and mountain biker; that was awesome times in high school.

okay, enough for now… i also do want to take a moment and congratulate the wonderful couple. erin, it has been so much fun getting to know you. yeah, you’re a bit crazy, but you are the leavening in the recipe for your happiness together. israel, congrats!

love you both and i’m looking forward to the wedding (and of course da marh-gaa-rritas!)!

I finally got on your site last week and
spent two hours looking at all the photos, the gorgeous ring, wedding gowns,Cozumel and “getting” to know Izzy and family. It was fun, but it is your fault that I didn’t get to bed until 4 AM! (I’m a night person anyhow.)

What code are you talking about? or is that for future reference on the actual wedding invitation.
I’m sure I wll have more questions in the future.
