Erin 'n Izzy's Wedding

Nearly 4 weeks ago Erin and I went to Jared, which I thought was decent (it supposedly is reputable).

Her engagement ring (below) is made of palladium and she wanted it resized because it was a half size too large.  I also needed (and still need) a ring myself.  So, we paid for her resizing and my wedding ring, which they had to order since the one they had in stock was too big.  They said that they would have it in 2 weeks.

So, three weeks rolls around and they didn’t call me.  Also, Erins resizing looked like crap, it had a bubble in the solder joint and was discolored, so today we went down to the store.

It turns out that they charged us to do a platinum resize (since to a jeweler platinum is exactly the same as palladium) but used white gold instead.

I demanded a refund on everything, and who knows now how much the ring is going to be to repair!

So, my new name for this place called “Jared” is

Jared, the McDonald’s of Jewelry
